Obituary for Timothy “Tim” Curtis Pearson

Timothy Curtis Pearson, 58, of Connelly Springs, NC, passed away in his home on October 16, 2018.
Tim was born on May 3, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, where he spent the first many years of his life. His family moved from there to Colorado and eventually settled in the Western North Carolina area. He was a member of the Enka High School class of 1978 where he met his wife of 41 years, Donna Laney Pearson. Despite his young age at the birth of his daughter, he spent the rest of his life as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Tim was an avid gardener, a sometimes philosopher, a music lover, and a connoisseur of fine beverages. He loved football, horse racing, and fishing. But his biggest pride at the end of his life were his three grandchildren. He would want most of all for anyone who remembers him to roll one up, pour one out, and tell his grandchildren all of the stories they can remember about him, when they are old enough to hear them of course.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Gaye, his grandmother, Mildred (Murr), and many other beloved grandparents. He left behind his wife, Donna, his daughter, Melanie, her husband Aj, and three grandchildren, Emma Jean, Sully, and Winnie. Also surviving are his father, Dan, his sister, Dana, and his brother, Tate, along with their partners and many nieces and nephews. His living pets, Lily and Mavis, are also mourning with the family.
Thomas Murray Funeral Service Licensee is serving the Pearson family.
