I am so grateful we found Thomas Murray Funeral Service after my son passed away, unexpectedly, on 10/29/20. The experience with this funeral service helped to soften the edges of our pain during this vulnerable time. Thomas seemed to truly understand what we were going through and bent over backwards to accommodate us. He treated us with compassion and respect, while providing top-of-the-line service at a fraction of the cost of other funeral organizations. my wife passed away suddenly and my family struggled to make the decision about our loved one. we called Thomas Murray and he was able to walk us through the options of fulfilling her wishes. Mr. Murray came into our home and helped guide us in making the final arrangements. He was so kind and generous with his time and was so caring during our time of grief. My wife always wanted to be cremated and Mr. Murray handled with the utmost integrity. he put my wifes remains in a beautiful urn and hand delivered it to our home. he such a kind and generous man.

Our mother recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. She had previously met with Thomas Murray and decided on him to handle her funeral arrangements. And this trust was more than justified, for when the dreaded moment finally arrived, Mr. Murray was there for her and us. He was very patient with us, answering all our questions and planning out every detail. With his help, we organized a wonderful and heartfelt service for our mother at a much better value than at other funeral homes. And he showed the utmost respect and care for our mom’s remains from the moment he arrived late at night to pick them up. By the time of the receiving, he had used his skill to restore a grace and dignity to her that had been diminished by the disease. I am forever grateful to him for that, and for his genuine sympathy and kindness to a grieving family during this extremely difficult time. Losing a loved one is one of life’s most painful experiences, but my family and I consider ourselves blessed that we had someone like Mr. Murray to guide us through the practical details while not forgetting the personal ones. He truly went above and beyond my expectations and made my mother’s funeral a truly special event. My father died suddenly and unexpectedly so we had very little time to make decisions regarding his body. Mr. Murray made all of that easy and seamless, we didn’t even have to step foot in a funeral home. He handled everything efficiently and with great kindness. Words can not express how grateful i am that my daughter found this gentleman. Knowing i was losing my dad and going to have to honor his wishes i was so blessed mr. murray was there to answer the call. He was so kind to each and everyone of us he went out of his way to make sure we had time with dad when the end came and treated him with honor and respect. He returned my dad in the most beautiful urn. I could not ask for more. Im so grateful the Lord put this kind christian man in our lives and Thank you for all your help making dad's last wishes be honored. I want to thank Mr. Murray from the bottom of my heart. When I had first contacted him requesting a price for a direct cremation my grandfather had not passed away yet. Mr. Murray answered all my questions and his quote was more than reasonable, plus he is more than willing to work with families because he knows the heartbreak is real and the added stress of planning a service is overwhelming. He includes a very nice urn and plaque as part of his package which I have not seen anywhere else. On Wednesday he text me to see how the family was holding up, and if there was anything he could do.. not even knowing if we had chosen him to do the services! Now that speaks volumes as to the character of man he is and the love he has for respecting the deceased. On Thursday afternoon I got the call that he had passed and got in touch with Mr. Murray. He drove over an hour out of his way to pick up the deceased. He arrived promptly and professionally. Spoke with each family member and offered more time to say goodbyes before taking him. Through every step of the process he was in touch with at lease one person of the family if not more. He spoke with compassion and commitment that I have never seen. I highly recommend using this business and when the time comes we will be using him again.

He was the most caring and professional person I have met. We welcomed him in our home and he became as one of the family. I wanted to post the wonderful job Mr. Murray did for our family. To honor my husband wishes, we chose cremation. I got prices from the two area funeral homes and their price was 2,000 plus for just a direct cremation with no services etc. I called Mr. Murray and he gave me a price of $995.00 which included an very nice urn, register book and service folders. He was very professional and dressed nice when he came over to my home. A couple of weeks later Mr. Murray called me to see how I was doing and asked me did I need anything. I recommend Thomas Murray Funeral Service Licensee to anyone.
